And yet again I surface after what seems like an age.. because, well it HAS been an age hasn't it!? Shocking waste of time! Still these things can only be done as and when the muse hits (no tip to any kind of professionalism there then.. haha), and just recently I've found my drawing hand again, so it's with some joy that I present a new piece ("Defiance"), as a result of dipping my quill into the reservoir of photo manipulation once again..
It never ceases to amaze me how my creative temperament can shift. For the best part I've been dabbling in the murky waters of my i-Pad and the generous canvas of GarageBand. This is of course no direct relevance to this, my DeviantArt world (excepting any connections of inspiration) but it does explain my absence. Frankly I'm shocked that it's taken this long to get back here, and as well as hoping that all fellow artisans within these hallowed digital walls are prospering in all manner of permutations, I do also hope that the gap between this piece and the next submission will not be as long! For sure I haven't even been back in here perusing any such wares..
highly embarrassing.. ...
Still, in the best Buddhist spirit I will wish everyone well, hope that I haven't missed anything nightmarish, forgive and chastise myself in equal measure and move on as 2014 approaches.
Given that it is the 29th as I post this I'll take the opportunity to wish everyone here a happy new year and hope that we all do better than ever!!!!
All the best for now peeps!! Take care for now.. See ya soon!

Devious Journal Entry
So, the last entry was last year eh? I've let the side down again haven't I?! Not to worry because it's been quite a busy time creatively, and not all to do with graphic art. Included in the mix has been some musical creativity too, though this has nothing to do with DeviantArt does it.. So what is relevant, you ask? Well, there has been some side work undertaken, somewhat attached to the Dryden Experiment (of which I also seem to be quite attached.. and very grateful for the opportunity too!).
Since we last spoke/typed I've been involved with the creation of a book cover for fellow Dryden creative Daniel B.Hunt, for his upcoming novel
Progress(!?)
Well, here we are again! The Dryden Experiment is approaching its third month in existence, and as one of its increasing contingent I can tell you it's been a hell of a fun ride thus far! It was a simple set of circumstances which brought about one of the most profound changes in my artistic world, and by its very nature as a collective of "creatives", the flow shows little sign of abating. Just a chance decision; one Saturday morning I simply elected to repost my work on DA, figuring the site needed pruning and re-planting. It was during the course of that session that I encountered Joel @ the Dryden Experiment. Since my contributing st
Alder's Story
A new project rises.. Hot on the heels of the introduction of the Technoprey comes a new collaborative work in progress (hence it's association to the moniker "Dryden Ex") penned by Joel Stottlemire, and entitled "Alder's Story" (http://www.thedrydenexperiment.com/index.php/content/alders_world/). This follows the exploits of the crew of the "Duster", a manned vessel which holds the record for deep space exploration, having travelled almost twice as far beyond known space as any previous mission. The story opens at the start of an encounter with a decidedly unusual star system..
It's with great delight that I can exhibit my part of the pr
The Pace Continues..
Well, hello! How are things going with you? It's been quite an exciting time in my world of digital art! Allow me to draw your attention to the Dryden Experiment (www.thedrydenexperiment.com).

I'd like to make a special mention to Joel Stottlemire (creator of the site) for his enthusiasm towards my Technoprey work (my own aspect of the project), and for the opportunity his dream project affords to all who might like what they see, and seek to participate. If you have any interest in the project and what it stands for creatively, then I recommend (as I did!) that you give it due consideration. I
